This works better than I expected!
Cool stuff! I pack a bag every week to visit my boyfriend and I usually have to keep my straightener away from everything while it cools. I'm always afraid that I'll burn something or myself if I bring it with me. But when I put the silicone holder on, it keeps the straightener closed but vented, allowing it to cool on its own, and I can toss it in any bag without worrying about burning something. Also, I feel better when little kids are running around. If my straightener falls off the stand while cooling, I don't have to worry about getting burned.
