These are great when the socket is behind a piece of furniture, e.g. B. a chest of drawers in the bedroom. The benefit of an angled plug is that you can position the furniture closer to the wall than if the plug were sticking out in line with the cord. The rotatable connector gives you more choice in which direction you want to route the cable. I've had one of them up and running for over a year and have never encountered any problems.
