Review on Belkin Upstream Charging Thunderbolt Transfer - F4U097Tt by Jason Collins

I originally purchased the Belkin Thunderbolt 3 Dock Mini with Thunderbolt 3 Cable a few months ago http://www.amzn.com/B07R5CB6HY and it goes well with my home setup. Then Covid-19 happened and my home rig became my work from home rig, growing and growing month after month. I now have 2 32" monitors, Razer BlackWindow Elite wired keyboard (2 USB + mic), Logitech C920 webcam, Fifine K670B mic, Inateck external dock with 2 SSD bays + 2 Samsung 860 -SSDs EVO 2TB, SanDisk Extreme PRO CFast 2.0 Reader/Writer, a legacy Western Digital 2TB hard drive, and a few other peripherals that far exceed the Belkin T3 Dock Mini's ports. 3 A cable that I expected to be plug and play for USB ports, but it isn't. After contacting Belkin support (long wait, not very helpful) via chat and then phone, you need to enter the Thunderbolt software icon in the menu bar and manually change the connection status from "Not connected" to "Always tied together". After that everything worked fine. Very simple solution but it took me some time to figure it out so hopefully it helps someone else. Docking station "hot". ry is subjective as I find it runs very warm but not "hot". As well as the Specter Touch 15 I also have a MacBook Pro 15 and when plugged in and charging this dock still doesn't get hot. Anyway, my HP Specter gets pretty hot when using Photoshop and Premiere Pro for other work outside of 9-5. The included Thunderbolt cable is typical Belkin quality and is thick and durable. I just wish there was an HDMI port similar to the mini version.
