I was recently gifted an Apple TV from a family member who was in the process of updating their system. You lost the remote but that's okay, our phones work fine to use the TV. NOT CORRECT. This gave me a bit of a headache, but for some reason my SO didn't take the time to download the app and use Fire Stick instead. SMX! persistent. I looked through used remotes for the 4K system and was amazed (I shouldn't have been surprised) that it used a thin aluminum substrate with a glass cover that needed to be charged. The used ones were all cracked and worn, which meant scratched and bloody hands, and even those were expensive. $55 for a new one seemed silly, but I put up with it because it was a free system. HOWEVER, I knew from my observations while watching that this would require additional investment to protect this precious, fragile remote control. We quickly lose and lose remote controls between pillows, or they merge with the carpet and get stepped on, and from time to time the cat likes to nibble on random things. Years ago, someone ripped off a corner of the glass on a Nokia phone, so it needed protection. Most of the covers looked normal and just cloned each other. I wanted something that doesn't add bulk but has a full bumper layer all around it and looks decent and draws attention so it doesn't get lost. I have to say that this one fits the bill as one of the few that covers buttons. The buttons are merged, making them difficult to see. So if you don't look into it, I can foresee that some people won't like the feature. I would have preferred protection and suppose I can get used to the functions of 3-4 buttons. The shape and necklines are good for functionality, they are not too tight, maybe the hair is looser than it should be. I didn't think I would like the rear lugs because I don't mind traction and slipping. I'm a tactile textures person and I now find myself prone to messing around with the remote control even when I'm not using it for browsing. This is strange, but can be a deterrent or a feature depending on the type of buyer. I have often avoided silicone cases for my electronic devices because they also tend to get sticky or sticky and become a magnet for pet hair. This powder has a soft texture and I have not had any mess/cleanliness issues with this supplement. I love the celadon color and it's brand new. The only thing I would like to add for functionality is a hole to attach a strap loop. It helps me more than anything to keep track of remotes. Silicone can be too thin and brittle for this option. For this option, if it were made from a thicker TPU material and absorbs shock a little better, it would be perfection. Overall 9/10 for my needs, would recommend and buy again.
