It was expected and looked like a well built product. Perhaps the wires attaching the device to the recessed glass could be a bit heavier; but there were no problems with the installation of headlights. A well diffused light was placed over my porch. They fit snugly against the veranda ceiling and are not noticeable. I would advise you to choose this product because the body is made of metal and plastic. I dropped one of the old plastic lanterns about 10 feet from the porch ceiling and broke when the plastic casing failed. Probably due to fatigue from hot and cold seasons. If it hit one of my grandchildren it could cause serious injury. or worse. I saw many reviews saying their plastic faucets failed in the shower or outside like mine did.
