Smooth shower light cover

I replaced an old rusty shower light cover with this product. It was very easy to install, covers the opening completely and diffuses the light well. This made the shower stall look brighter compared to the old frosted lens. Too bad I made this replacement a long time ago!

Pros
  • Good workmanship
Cons
  • Infinitely slow

No real issues with the finish

Looks great, better than the Build Grade I picked up. It's a bit difficult to "bend" or rather press the metal. I'm a wimp, so I needed someone with the best hands to do it. Not a complaint, just a warning to others. Maybe it was because of the good quality of the metal, which isn't really a problem, is it?

Pros
  • Sturdy finish
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Easy to install Works well with recessed lighting

I broke the original bathroom light cover while changing a lightbulb. Luckily I found this one at Revain and was able to replace it myself for less than $10 without having to call in a handyman who would probably charge me at least $50. I like that the glass on this one is clear and gives more light than the original.

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • Zero

If you only need the case and not the light, it can suit you.

It has no backlight. I needed it for the shower light but couldn't use it because the brackets that hold the light are the same as this glass cover. It won't work with canister lights unless you have a small light that fits under that glass cover.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Power socket required

I didn't know before ordering that the tabs that attach the springs to the fairing are metal. And that's great, as the plastic bulbs break so easily when you try to remove the cover to replace a blown bulb. You have to change them repeatedly, like crappy plastic bottles.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Safety

Stop looking at the ugly 1983 shower lamp.

This was 4 days late but it was a USPS error. There are no instructions and I have never done this type of repair before. I'm a homeowner learning on the go, I'm 30 years old. Took me 4 minutes to remove, clean and reinstall the ceiling. Much better! These are small fixes along the way that will keep your home beautiful. Do not be afraid of such projects. I don't think the springs are swapped either. That curved spine on the ends keeps it in place very well.

Pros
  • Finish
Cons
  • Cable shorter than others

Metal beats plastic. Safety matters!

It was expected and looked like a well built product. Perhaps the wires attaching the device to the recessed glass could be a bit heavier; but there were no problems with the installation of headlights. A well diffused light was placed over my porch. They fit snugly against the veranda ceiling and are not noticeable. I would advise you to choose this product because the body is made of metal and plastic. I dropped one of the old plastic lanterns about 10 feet from the porch ceiling and broke…

Pros
  • Electrical
Cons
  • Can't remember but there was something
