I bought this to keep my sterling silver earrings in to keep them from tarnishing. They have so many bags that I now have all the earrings in one bag, one pair for each set. I live in the tropics and silver isn't always good here, but put 'em in these bags. I put all my earrings in their pouches and put them in a large ziplock bag. That's how they are all together and when I want to put on a pair I throw the whole bag on the bed and sort through to find the ones I need. Since doing this I have never had to polish my silver earrings, they have not tarnished at all.
