Review on Easy Scoop & Disposal: PetFusion Portable Cat Litter System with Locking Handle | Use Any Bags & Includes Deodorizer by Dana Jones

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Much better than Litter Gin.

I've always used old grocery bags, which is a messy and annoying way to clean the tray. I've used toilet spirits while babysitting my parents and it's even worse than using grocery bags. So much negativity I can't even begin to talk about how much I dislike trash geniuses! This little trash can is just awesome. I hate getting stuck on buying certain system refills and I love that I can use whatever packs I have on hand that fit. I love that I can just drive it to our three boxes and check the trash daily, then close the lid and put it aside without making a smelly mess. One of our cats likes to eat soft plastic so a plastic bag was a must. This trash can also has a top big enough that I could use a large dustpan and the trash didn't fall out the sides like you use a garbage ghost with more than a tiny little dustpan. I just received mine so can't vouch for durability, but I'm really excited about this update to our garbage collection system. Update October 2019 My filler cap does not pop open like in the picture and rotates back 180 degrees by default. I'm a bit worried about how well the hinge will hold in this position due to the pressure, but so far so good. The hinge is the part of the glass that worries me the most over time. If you have trouble with the jar tipping over when empty, try moving the handle forward instead of backward when opening the can. Lid. This fixed the issue where I didn't have any debris in it and I didn't have to lean it against anything for it to stand up on its own. Make sure any bags you get for this are deep enough to fill the bottom and this will help take pressure off another potential failure point, which is the can's seals. I've tried some pockets that almost worked for depth, but the pocket really needs to fill the bottom or I think the clasps won't work in the long run if you're holding weight with them because the pocket is too short. So far I've used manufactured biopacks for this, but I'm looking for cheaper simple packs for this, so I don't have any specific packing suggestions yet. I carry it between three cat crates and when it's half full I'm uncomfortable carrying it around the house so I dump it more often than I technically should, just for the weight, not lack of space.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Almost OK
