There seems to be a common problem with this type of mount where the clamp's "connecting ball" hits the clamp. After about 3 months of use (almost every day) the link ball broke causing the phone to fall on the trail. The phone mount and phone case we used protected the phone, so the phone would not be damaged. Aside from that "weak spot" the rest of the mount looks really well built. Wooden bridges and the bike has no front suspension and that can definitely make our use on the mountain more difficult than others might experience. We previously had another bracket from a competitor and it broke in the exact same spot. From the customer service side: 5 stars Sarah at customer service was quick to respond to my warranty request and I received a replacement about a week later. She also made sure I got a replacement. The replacement mount is a new "upgraded" model (doesn't use the "rubber band" method of attaching the phone), so we'll have to wait and see if the new mount is stronger. crossed fingers The new "upgraded" model covers 4 corners of the phone, providing even better protection against falls in the event of a breakage. The new model is available from Revain and has the word "Full Protection" in its name.
