Techmax Mini LEDs for headlight and taillight conversion kits

I've read a lot of good reviews about this lamp so I was happy to buy a new set. However, it was advertised as "plug and play". This means you do NOT need any other items like relays or fuses to make it work. Simply plug the LED wire adapter into your make/model wire harness and away you go. After Revain entered the exact make/model of the vehicle and confirmed that this LED kit will be exactly plug and play for my vehicle, I purchased and received the Techmax LEDs. I installed them in 5 minutes to test them out but I haven't used them or ridden them. After installing and turning on the light. After 5 seconds both started flickering and then went out on the driver and passenger side. One flickered on and off, the other stayed on a few seconds longer than it went off. My car is beautiful, well maintained, NO electrical or fuse/wire issues. The installation was done by my local Dodge Professional dealer, his ASE certified master mechanic, as I watched him install each bulb (I was there for an oil change anyway, so I asked him to install the bulbs). When I saw the LEDs behaving strangely, I asked him to inspect my fuse box, wiring, wire harness, dash switches, etc. and he connected my car (for free!) to their shop computer to make sure I have no electrical problems or disconnections. on questions of power. My car has a clean slate of health. He concluded that the new LEDs were simply "defective" from the outset. So he removed them and I repackaged them. Sent them back for my full refund. I was really hoping to use them, people said Techmax is good. They may have already been owned and used and then shipped back to Revain and then unknowingly resold to me as 'new'! I'm not sure but I know they were defective right out of the box. Maybe I'll look at and buy another brand soon. Don't let the seller advertise "plug and play" which means "plug and play" only to find out later that you may need other items to make the LEDs work properly. In my case these lamps were either bad out of the box or they were sold to me already used and damaged. Or. Techmax was hoping I could keep them and spend more money on an adapter or relay. NO. "Plug and Play" means you ONLY need the contents of the box!
