Unbelievable value for money

I wanted to write this review to directly address those who are considering buying it for gaming as I haven't seen too many reviews on this device. For the price, this processor is insanely good, but do some research on what games you want to play before pulling the trigger. This is a 2-core 4-thread processor and is equivalent to the previous generation i3 processors. It's very fast for browsing and basic needs, but how does it work in-game? Here is my experience. I paired this with 4GB R9 380 GPU and 8GB DDR4 memory at 2666. Windows 10. Some test examples: Apex Legends: AVG 65, Low 46 at Low/High combo. Witcher III: AVG 71, dropping to 50 in Novigrad. , all high with shadow on low Fortnite: AVG 123, Low 76, Competitive settings Modern Warfare: 50-60 AVG on a mix of settings Now obviously these are rough examples and YMMV dependent on your GPU and configuration. You can probably even increase frame rates with a 10th gen i3. However, if you're on a budget or don't really care about the world's most stable frames, this processor is a killer value. I certainly learned an important lesson with this processor. Don't worry about frames anymore and just enjoy the games. However, the performance this processor can offer on a healthy PC build is more than acceptable. It's not an AAA chip for great games, but it will play great in many games from 2015 onwards.
