Review on PUPPIA International Puppia Harness XSmall by Claudia Muhammadi

Revainrating 3 out of 5

I would buy it again but the size runs small.

UPDATE 09/20/18: My dog was visiting my relatives and slipped out of the harness when my brother picked him up to put him in the car. The harness just slid down his body, still attached to the leash! Luckily he's well trained and doesn't run, but I think those with fickle dogs should know this. Pros: It looks stylish and fast on a small dog. Got lots of compliments while wearing it. Small, nervous dogs seem comfortable with the pressure they create when worn (like a windbreaker). The dog was very comfortable and didn't mind even playing around. Easy to put on and take off. high-quality seams and black piping create a pleasant contrast. Cons: If your dog loves to pull and you haven't taught your pup to, beware! This thing is so comfortable for them, doesn't choke the dog and lets them survive like never before! Actually, I thought it was good that my dog liked to be undisturbed, but it made training more difficult. He eventually had to switch to a different harness until he could walk better on a leash and then use one. It will only stretch over time with normal use due to the stretchy material. If I had to buy again I would go down a size if it was close enough to the size above. I eventually stopped using it, fearing that if the right circumstances came along, he might give it up. It's a hair magnet. It's hard to keep nice and clean as it collects everything from hair to grass to down and is woven into the mesh material. I would roll it daily and it was pointless. After a walk there is a mess again. Next time I would go with a lighter color to make it look less messy. Finally, the buckle is 1 inch and very bulky for a small 9 pound dog as it rests on his shoulder blades.

Pros
  • Collars, Harnesses & Leashes
Cons
  • Negative impression
