The chain is very pretty, but the clasp is awkwardly in the middle of the chain. If you have a very thin neck this can work, but if you have a normal to wide neck there is no way to tighten the clasp enough to allow the top of the necklace to fit properly without pinching the middle of the neck . In other words, the top of the necklace dangles like a loose turtleneck and the center is too tight. There should be another separate clasp for the top of the necklace, or a different clasp system altogether, so it fits snugly from top to bottom. I also found the chain bulky and very short. A beautiful thing, but from a logistical point of view, it is inconvenient to carry. i give it back
