The fact is it's so absorbent you'll want that water when mopping. With fibromyalgia, drying out of the skin is painful, to say the least, so softness is welcome. Light weight is another plus when drying or wiping. The towels I bought this time are extra large, measuring 32" x 71". Other microfiber towel purchases were smaller, 27 x 55 inches, but they were too small for bathing. The only negative was the lack of instructions on how to wash towels. Wanted them to last the life of a towel. I found the washing instructions at the bottom of the description page.
