This was exactly what I was looking for to put metal railings on my stairs as they are magnetic (see video) they glow very bright they are not too sensitive so I won't discharge the charge every time I'm within 10ft of it (I have smaller ones that do just that). I should mention in one of the pictures that you will see that the mounting bracket is attached off center for some reason, the magnets are off center. So when you mount it, you better check its placement first, because although it holds up great, if you install it in a narrow space and try to center this mount, you'll have to do it again :) I've also included a red indicator image, when you plug in the charger it stays red until the indicator is charged and then turns green, but with the powerful battery on this thing takes a couple of hours or more to fully charge from a USB port. if you let him die Since it does everything I wanted I have to give it 5 stars
