We decided to omit the cable. I've looked into individual antennas (like the Mohu Leaf) but considering we have 4 TVs, $30-60 per antenna was out of the question. After some browsing and research I decided on this antenna. I had never heard of this brand but at the price (35.99 at the time) I thought I had to lose. According to web.org antenna we are 30 miles from Tampa Towers and 65 miles from Orlando Towers. I decided to do an attic conversion. I put it over the garage. As you can see from the photos I used 4 feet of 3/4" PVC pipe to mount the antenna. And I attached the pipe to a piece of plywood. To get the signal to 4 TVs I have one Standard splitter used, I thought I needed a splitter with an amplifier but I didn't have that The antenna worked for the Orlando and Tampa stations but I decided to point the antenna at the Tampa towers and although it's in Going toward Tampa, we also catch a few Orlando train stations, and they're in the opposite direction Thanks to Antenna, Netflix, and Revain, we're saving $120 a month compared to cable TV.
