Ideal for Alzheimer's patients.

I ordered a set of smaller ones for my aunt who has Alzheimer's and has trouble with small things (aka belt buckle work). These are perfect for her. I tighten the belt after taking her jeans out of the wash. I'll take them off the next time I wash. The price is quite cheap because she has a belt for each pair of pants so she doesn't have to worry about changing them when she gets dressed. At first she kept fiddling with the pictures, but for the last few days she doesn't seem to notice. The bonus is that she no longer has to constantly pull up her pants. I also bought a pair of pants in a larger size. I'm a tall girl (26 pants) and big belts are almost too big for me. But I like a tighter belt. My only issue with them is how difficult it is to resize them. It's almost impossible to resize while wearing. However, I'm also thankful that it's difficult to adjust the size, as it means they don't keep slipping down to a larger size. (Hmm, how many different ways I can end a sentence with "size".) So I'm happy to take the trouble of removing the strap to adjust the size ;-)

Pros
  • Stretchy
Cons
  • Flimsy
