It's easy to install - you don't need to change ANYTHING on the car except power the device. DO NOT cut off the old AUX connector, just plug it back into the dashboard and connect this device to it. You can then steal power from the cigarette lighter, or there's another "fusible plug wire" located just behind the fairing. I connected "hot" and "light" together so it stays on all the time when the ignition is on. Only one wire needs to be connected, and you can ground it anywhere on the metal part of the car. Works very well and is easy. The only problem is the voice used to indicate when the Bluetooth connection is established. If it were the best English speaker in the company (which you assumed would use) it would sound terrible. I realize that commenting on accents is wild laxism (I know my Swedish and German accents are terrible), but every time I hear this, I find it annoying. But at this price point and for what you get, seriously, can't complain. Buy it. That works great. I put one in my wife's jeep and bought another for a friend's birthday. Seriously, it works so well and requires very little skill to install. It's well made and basically perfect (apart from that damn accent you have to hear EVERY time your phone connects).
