I have decided to replace the PCV due to oil buildup in the air intake. After installing it, my problems got worse. It looks like the gasket/gasket on my top cap has blown resulting in a massive oil leak and vacuum leak. I was given the code P300. I replaced the gasket and o-ring on the cam/CVT and put the original PCV back in place. The oil leak stopped, there were no more misfires. It may have been an accident or maybe a faulty PCV. The replacement hoses are a bit fiddly to connect. A bit disappointed because I have used ignition coils from this manufacturer with good results.
