Review on Wellmax Trailer Utility Assembly Attachable by Troy Caldwell

I bought these lights to replace the 'waterproof' lights already installed on my trailer. After checking the original headlights, I found that they basically didn't work. After disassembling, I found that they were full of water, including in the sealing areas. The extent of the corrosion was amazing. They were complete rubbish. They were easy to install, very bright and work perfectly. Before installing, I took one of the mounts and dunked it in the kitchen sink for a few minutes. No doubt it's waterproof. I wouldn't recommend using the supplied electrical connectors which are pretty standard. There is nothing wrong with them, except that they are not waterproof and can be installed in a place that will be flooded. This would effectively cut off the power supply. I bought some heat shrink solder connectors for my connections and they worked great and are totally waterproof. They also look better and are easy to hide with the included clips. Can't comment on longevity but hopefully I can update this review at the end of the season to see how they hold up.
