Clip too small and does not hold well

The clip is compatible with Arca Swiss, so wedge-shaped. The problem is that the clamp is too small and doesn't grip the plate with a sufficient point of contact. If you have a thicker plate or lens base, it won't fit. The ball isn't firm enough either, and despite being rated at 12 pounds, it slips when loaded with 8 pounds.
