I liked the plastic case. All compartments are covered with plastic which is very difficult to remove and get to those ultra fine powders. There were no instructions included. You can return to Revain and go to the product description for instructions. Of course, all these types of powders are very runny. Be careful opening each compartment or you will lose half the product and they are small. I was very careful but still screwed up and lost a lot. The effect is subtle. Didn't get the effect of the pictures but give or take a star for user error.
