Not recommended, volume is not adjustable.

I have an older version of this Plantronics speaker - I actually have two because I really liked them. Over the years, the micro USB connector on them has gotten to the point where it no longer holds the cable. This new model is much nicer in terms of design. Gone are the silly touch controls and built-in cable. There is also a very nice mute ring. The problem is that the lowest volume is still incredibly loud - as if you could hear loud voice calls from other rooms. The volume button doesn't seem to do anything. Others have had this issue and some reviews try to apologize or justify it by saying "It's for the voice, not the music". I only use this for Teams calls and the volume is so loud it's unbearable. Unfortunately, the return period has expired, so I'm hoping that this will be fixed with a firmware update. My previous devices received updates through the Plantronics Hub app from time to time, so I hope so. The hardware design is very good, the volume knob is broken.

Pros
  • Smart features: Stay connected to call status with visual indicators and voice alerts.
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors
