Review on ๐ŸŽ Hanging Fruit Basket, Malmo 3-Tier Wire Vegetable Kitchen Storage Hanger with Copper Coating by Laura Jackson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Nice but thin wire and small top basket

Update: I'm increasing my rating to one star due to the seller's prolific customer service. They contacted me and asked me to email them so they can resolve any issues. ___ This basket set is a really pretty pink-copper color and looks very pretty from a few feet away. The underlying metal is a matte gray, and up close it shows a little in some places where there's friction (like the little hooks on the chains). I haven't had the baskets for a very long time so I'm not sure they will even get the green patina. The metal is light, bends easily, so most of the mesh is distorted due to processing and manufacturing. It will probably be fine as long as it hangs and doesn't get flattened or anything like that on a countertop, but I wish it was heavier. The top basket is relatively small, but I found I could fit three large lemons in it. If you are planning on hanging baskets from the ceiling, the top baskets will be too high for many, or maybe most, adults. I hung a cheap shelf bracket upside down to hang the baskets lower on the wall in the kitchen so they would hang over a short food shelf. The mount is white, as are the walls, so not too flashy, but I'm looking for a pretty plant mount. The top basket is still pretty tall, but it works. You can move the large hook down the chain or even remove the top basket if you wish, giving the set a little more flexibility for smaller spaces. I find the price a bit high for the durability but works well so far.

Pros
  • Hanging baskets
Cons
  • Annoying
