Table measures approximately 11.5 inches when assembled. It's a bit tall to use as a lap table (like we planned). Fortunately, the legs can be trimmed; The plastic shoes on the ends of the legs slide off, and the four legs can be unscrewed from the main table, cut, and then screwed back on. See attached pictures. We were able to use a simple hacksaw to take a few inches off each leg. The result is a stable table without worrying about adjustability.*** Seller may consider offering tables in different heights (8", 10" and 12")***
