Mostly plastic except for hinge pin and screws

All plastic. The collet nut on the ball joint had to be tightened a bit before installing it on the ball joint, it is very difficult to snap the ball joint this way. At first I tried to snap it in but then the nut wouldn't unscrew. Two holders are fixed, the other two are spring-loaded. Would only trust a road bike. Update: My concerns about the plastic construction proved to be valid, the ball joint broke after 3 months of use.
