Review on ๐Ÿ”Œ Renogy Wanderer 10 Amp Solar Charge Controller Regulator with Bluetooth Module for 12V/24V System by Cody Bowie

Seems to be working fine!

They're cheaply made and you get what you pay for. I wasn't expecting anything significant either. It turned out to be useful for my project and that's what matters. I have used Renogy products before and while cheap they are a little better compared to other Chinese fakes (although I'm pretty sure they are also made in China) but the quality is for the price, you pay, a little more bearable. obvious when you open the device and realize that there are no heatsinks for the mosfets. But I suspect that switching PWM to 10A doesn't dissipate as much heat, and they've replaced the backplate with an all-plastic construction, while redesigning the PCB with heavier copper and tiny airflow holes to allow for passive cooling of the mosfet without too enable using any heatsink. Anyway, this is a Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) solar charge controller that can charge Lithium Ion batteries (the main reason for choosing this over others) and I've found that you can get a "maximum" battery charge voltage in 12 VDC and 24 VDC ranges and allows further selection in small increments such as 12.0, 12.2, 12.4, 12.6, etc. to ensure the lithium battery is fully charged with solar panels as the main power source. This Renogy Wanderer 10 Amplifier 12V/24V PWM Negative Ground Solar Charge Controller can accept a wide range of DC input voltages (max - 50VDC) and will charge your battery (as much as your solar panel can provide) and pump all the amplifier power right into yours battery, and when the battery voltage reaches a critical level (set by the user for Li-Ion) it starts pulling amps down and slowly and surely reaches the specified, user set value. As soon as the battery voltage is reached, the charging process will be completely stopped, even if the solar panel gives full power on sunny days. The manual has all the details on the supported battery types (including lithium-ion), good old flooded 12/24 lead-acid batteries, gel batteries, etc. Four-star product rating!
