The first step, loosening the screws to adjust the rails, was terrible. The screws loosened and the springs popped out. It took me 30 minutes to fix this so I could proceed with the process. After that it wasn't that hard. But as I rode, my bike began to slide off the rack even though the brackets were tightened, not the frame. You'll also need to attach some straps to the frame of the bike to keep the whole thing from sliding off the rack onto the floor. Very dangerous. You should have done something about it. However, when it's enabled, it seems pretty stable. But I'm afraid to put two bikes on it because they can both slide off. I only use 1 bike at a time.
