I love using old hardware in a portable format and this little guy makes me happy. With the ports I have every day, usually fast USB-C hard drive connection and fast data transfer, with this kit you can add m.2 SATA SSD (like WD Blue 1TB) and now your hub (which houses so many useful functions) plug it in in the same room where I don't have to turn it off and it's even fun to run games without it). The speeds are high, similar to your internal SATA drives, you also get 3 USB 3.0 ports, an ethernet jack and an HDMI out which is perfect for a laptop but also works great on my desktop. Installation is quick and easy, love it, such a cool concept, definitely looking forward to what else they will release. Keep in mind that this is not compatible with m.2 nvme, but I certainly hope something like this comes out soon. I haven't used this SSD in so long I love having it available in my hub, coolest thing ever. Definitely recommended!
