I installed Road Play Wireless CarPlay on my 2013 Mercedes SLK. It took about 3 hours and was fully plugged in and working (no cutting wires). This device does exactly what it advertises. I have a Full Wireless Apple Car Play on the original screen in the car. I highly recommend adding a rear camera at the same time. I bought an inexpensive camera from Revain, it works great and even has lines that move with the steering wheel. The system also allows you to switch between CarPlay and the original Mercedes interface so as not to lose the original functionality. Because the system uses the car's audio system, the sound remains as good as it was originally. Sounds great on my SLK. I hope they come out at Road Top Car Play for my 2018 Toyota RAV4! Switching between CarPlay and native mode takes a little getting used to, but once you get the hang of it, it's easy. This device is unbeatable for its price.
