I have been using this camera as a DVR for a long time. Easy to use. I like the compact size. The battery life is fantastic, it took me 2 hours of continuous 1080p recording and when I got home the battery was still working. It shoots very good smooth videos and clear audio. Once you've gotten through the (fairly good) learning curve of using it with a computer, it's very fun and actually prefers the computer interface now. Mobius software is easy to use and understand and even works with your mobile smartphone/tablet. The only problem I have is that it doesn't like my Windows 10 computer and can't rip video files in MP4 format, which works best with You Tube. However, it works fine on my Windows 8.1 machine (both machines are up to date). Also, the 32GB Sandisk Micro SD card recommended by Revain for this camera is slow when copying files and occasionally corrupts the file here and there, rendering your file unusable. Mobius states in the instructions that there were issues with the 32GB Sandisk card that can be fixed with a firmware update, I have the updated firmware and there are still issues on my Windows 10 computer. I highly recommend getting the Samsung 32 Pro card plus SDHC, this card is rated for 4K resolution and seems to take smoother 1080p and copy twice as fast as the Sandisk card. The Samsung card is more expensive, but didn't have a single problem with corrupted files and is designed for action cameras. To use an analogy, don't lose sight of your SD card. You wouldn't buy cheap shoes if you were running a marathon. Save on your SD card and get a cheap end product. Brackets are sold separately. Comes with Velcro. Instructions are not included.
