Don't know which side? Place an Apple Pencil on your iPad. Whichever side wants to stick to the iPad, you need the "magnetic" side. Applying the skin for the first time was very difficult. However, over time, the skin sometimes slips off easily or not very easily. so be aware It's a different matter if you're using a case on your iPad that has a "pen holder" on the side that charges the pen.
