Review on Logitech Z130 Compact Laptop Speakers with 3.5mm Jack - Powerful Sound in Sleek Black by Oscar Colangelo

These are good speakers for the price. They have a decent form factor for the small desk I use them on. They deliver decent mids and highs but lack bass (which is to be expected from 2.0 speakers at this price point). I hooked them up to a desktop amp (Behringer HA400 4-Channel Stereo Headphone Amplifier) and the bass didn't improve much. The power cord for these speakers is modular, meaning it can be removed from the speaker, but the cable connecting the two speakers, as well as the cable with the 3.5mm plug, is permanently attached to the speakers themselves. This can make cable routing a bit difficult. Pros: Good size for a small desk Good price Decent aesthetics Cons: Speakers are constantly connected Non-modular auxiliary cable Lack of bass sound Overall these speakers are decent for the price, but there are better speakers out there. tl;dr: Decent speakers for the price, lacking bass
