I bought this vacuum for my wife. We have always relied on Dirt Devil and their products. 1 year and 10 days after purchasing this product, the roller brush failed (note that the warranty period has expired). One side of the car melted and the roller brush began to smoke. We contact Dirt Devil and ask for the part number (since Revain has a lot of them). To order a new roller brush, all we asked for was that specific part number. Dirt Devil responded by asking for the model number and invoice for the vacuum cleaner we bought. After sending them the model number and the invoice, they replied with instructions to unplug the old unit and explained that they would be sending us a brand new vacuum cleaner. After 1 week we got a new one. I would recommend it to anyone interested in Dirt Devil. Not only do they make a very good product, they support it 200%. Thank you Dirt Devil and Revain!
