I used them on a large monitor. What worries me is that there are two 6 inch sections of the strip that are just wire, no lights. These are multiple sections of light connected by empty strips. It is not a continuous band of light. So I just connected the two pieces to the bulbs and left the excess wire sticking out (see photo). It's behind my monitor so I can't see it. The light isn't very bright. I don't have a way to measure it, but "enough" is a good way to put it. There aren't many ways they work. Monochrome (quite a lot). blinking It says they can sync to music, but I haven't tried that. On the plus side, there are many ways to manage them. At the end of the strip you will get a box with three buttons. You will receive a separate slim remote control. You can use the app. The app adds some additional features. You can't use Google Home/Alexa, but that's not what they're designed for. It's bluetooth, not wifi. Everything is fine with them. I have them on a 34" monitor. I don't think they will put out enough light for large displays/TVs. Maybe on sale for 34" monitors or smaller, or if you don't need a really bright light.
