Easy to install and use! Nice that there are different control options (remote, app or turn on the lightbar itself), they seem bright enough, I like the flash function with music. They didn't stay on when the TV was off (plugged into the TV) so I got a USB port for power and now they do. It's only been a few days but I'm happy with these lights! (will be updated if I find any problems)

The backlight works great when mounted on a TV - quality of the strip and adhesive is good - no problem with the included remote control. not required for Bluetooth connection. Removed and only 3 stars for the set - limited functionality, not as advertised to allow spying on mobile devices.

Super. Good glue so it sticks well. It even comes with an alcohol wipe to clean the surface. Perfect fit for my 55" Samsung. It has a built in mic so it goes to the beat in movie/music mode with adjustable sensitivity. Need a RGBWW light bar. Anything and everything can't be compared in price and quality. Looks you look at, Philips.

This isn't a $15 problem and I just have two comments that might be helpful. The 'white' setting is closer to cyan, and the overall brightness - no matter what colors you choose - is very bright. When other lights are on in the same room, they become color artifacts that you might have to look at twice to see . I use it on the back of my computer monitor which gives a nice subtle glow. If you're looking for something meatier, this isn't it.

I would not buy this glowing strip if you have a Samsung TV (at least 7 series). The remote control of the Samsung TV and the remote control of this light strip must work on the same frequency. When you press play, pause, stop, etc. on the Samsung remote, the light bar is also affected, causing the light to go crazy, which is very annoying. The strip is also not as bright as others I've had. TV please don't do that! Do not damage the TV with the backlight. The strip is held without clips.

I installed this kit on a 55 inch wall mounted TV over a month ago. I was sure I'd have to use clips or tape at some point to secure it, but the tape stayed on with no problems. I have never used a Govee product before and found the installation process easy and quick. Advantages: 1. The glue on the LED strips and the hand control turned out to be very aggressive. Once attached, it will never come off.2. Used an old Samsung USB power adapter plugged into the wall as a power supply with good results.3. LED lighting has a really good range from low to bright. I used them on a large monitor. What worries me is that there are two 6 inch sections of the strip that are just wire, no lights. These are multiple sections of light connected by empty strips. It is not a continuous band of light. So I just connected the two pieces to the bulbs and left the excess wire sticking out (see photo). It's behind my monitor so I can't see it. The light isn't very bright. I don't have a way to measure it, but "enough" is a good way to put it. There aren't many ways…
