I have never used a Govee product before and found the installation process easy and quick. Advantages: 1. The glue on the LED strips and the hand control turned out to be very aggressive. Once attached, it will never come off.2. Used an old Samsung USB power adapter plugged into the wall as a power supply with good results.3. LED lighting has a really good range from low to bright. Much better than my previous experience with similarly priced LED strips. Colors are deep and rich.4. The Android app was easy to set up and use, and connected via bluetooth with ease. Cons: As soon as I opened the plastic packaging of the spiral LED strip, it gave off a very strong smell of solvent. And I mean really, really strong. I have never experienced something like that. I had to put it outside overnight to disperse the solvent smell. Apart from the surprise of the solvent, I am very happy with the result.
