Pricey, but this is the mother of all conference room webcams.

This is the mother of all conference room cameras. If you're trying to avoid the "pinhead" problem during a conference call, when you have a wide-angle conference call and a camera that fits everyone but can't see a single face, this camera is for you. It works plug and play with most major teleconferencing apps and is immediately recognized as an external USB camera on my iMac. The default setting is "Panorama Mode," in which inputs from each of the three cameras on the front of the device merge seamlessly to give you an uninterrupted view of the space in front of you. This works best when placed on a small tripod at face level for all participants. The quality of the camera is good enough that you can clearly see everyone's facial features/expressions, which is a welcome difference from most webcams in this conference room setup. I couldn't get the iMac to recognize the Jabra as an external microphone either, but again that wasn't really a disadvantage as I already had an external microphone and was mostly looking for the device's camera capabilities. Using the Jabra app gives you some additional options such as B. "Magnify" to slightly reduce your field of view. I haven't had much luck with the 'intelligent zoom' feature, which was said to focus on the speaker's face. My problem was that it was one person, but with such a delay that it often missed the person speaking. While this feature doesn't work that well, the high-resolution panoramic view you can get from this camera is truly unmatched for conference calls and I highly recommend it.
