It was a great find at this price. It's pretty easy, but you'd better make sure all the pieces are in order, or you'll have to take them off to do it right. Especially make sure you have small panels to attach the arms to the ceiling with wires BEFORE inserting them into the main panel and twisting all the wires together. If you miss even one, you have to take everything apart, disconnect all the wires, pull out a wire, put on a small plate and put everything back together. I cut the wires shorter and it was very easy to do. I tried old LED bulbs but they weren't bright enough so I chose regular clear incandescent bulbs because mine is in the kitchen and I need lots of light for cooking etc. It all depends on where you want to hang them.
