Bought these primarily to have effortless on off for Christmas. Low and behold, remote did not work straight out of box. You could say I am more than a wee bit ticked. I will attempt to rectify situation Having said that, I did like the way the candles looked when I manually turned them on.1 week later.new remote sent and did not work, or so I thought. I messed around with just me, one candle and the remote. I turned the candle on manually and turned off with remote and ta da!Now a keeper with more stars
