They do the job. I wish they were a little thicker and stronger. I use 3 boards glued together. Even when I'm carrying a cake, I make sure to put my hand right under it in the middle so it doesn't sag. I once had a sheet cake on 3 layers of this cardboard and it folded right in the middle and I almost lost the cake. I've always kept it bottom center ever since, and that's never happened again. One more note: I cover them with Wilton "Fanci-Foil" White Paper. This makes it prettier because if you don't cover your boards you'll see brown corrugated cardboard sticking out on the sides. Not so nice when you take the time to bake a good sheet cake. Don't even bother with foil or wax paper, if you cut the cake, cut the foil or wax paper too and take it with the cake. "Fanci Foil" is not.
