Exactly as stated in the review but if like me you need a little extra then I'd recommend your local pizzeria. Take-out pizza boxes are made from the same food-safe cardboard, and my local pizzeria was more than willing to give me a few boxes after I had dinner at the eatery. Theoretically, I "paid" for her because of the meal, but I figured it would be a win-win. I got what I needed and leftover pizza to eat while I made the cake.

They do the job. I wish they were a little thicker and stronger. I use 3 boards glued together. Even when I'm carrying a cake, I make sure to put my hand right under it in the middle so it doesn't sag. These are the only cake stands I will be using. I've been using them for many years and they have never let me down. They are not fat resistant. You can buy some of these here at Revain. They have silver lace. I've used them for special occasions and they work great. These cake boards are designed to be topped with foil, fondant or sugar leaves.
