They look elegant and are easy to store behind a toilet, for example. But there are certain problems in using it. The silver part, which is a flat plate halfway up the handle, gets in the way when cleaning. I always rattle it on the toilet when I wash the bowl. Also, it's in two pieces and bolts right under the silver round plate, which comes loose and you'll have to tighten. I bet you can buy a hand on a toilet brush, disgusting. Also the metal parts end up looking very dirty unless you clean the brush handle etc after use which again is just extra work. So I definitely wouldn't buy it again. I understand that the round top is nice to sit on and looks good, but in terms of use etc it's not worth it. I should have just bought a cheaper one and stashed it under the sink in an old trash can like my old one, next to the plunger.
