I needed about 35' of wire and wanted the fastest speeds I could get so I went with this Cat 6 cable. It comes coiled up nicely and it was easy to pull out just the amount I needed, and re-secure the remaining so I didn't have excess wire all of the place.It does the job well -- I was using Wi-Fi for video conferencing and multi-tasking for work, and even though I have high internet speeds, the unreliability of Wi-Fi was causing my video to freeze up every now and then. By hard wiring to my router with this cable, I'm getting better speed than with Wi-Fi and practically 100% reliability.The reason for 3 stars instead of 5 stars is kinda big -- the cable got stuck in my iMac! I needed to move the cable from one computer to another, and when I tried to unplug the cable from my iMac it was stuck. Very stuck. The plastic thingy to press down and release the cable wasn't broken. The cable just would not come out.I did some research and finally had to insert a flathead screwdriver to get it out. Yes, I had to put a flathead screwdriver into my iMac put additional pressure on the cable and be able to pull it out. For that reason, this cable gets no more than 3 stars from me. I was so worried I was going to damage my $3,000 computer because of a $12 cable.
