Don't hold down the button to quickly increase/decrease the volume.

I bought this to replace my own remote control which couldn't "see" the TV and required repeated button presses. The old device allowed holding down the volume knob to quickly decrease or increase the speaker and guide channels. The new block allows you to use one number per tap. It took 50 clicks to increase the volume from 60 to 10. RETURNS
