When receiving, all indicators stayed red at first, even without batteries. I turned off the power and restarted charging and everything worked and still works fine. FYI, the device charges to 4.2 +/- 0.15 volts, so you won't get a green light until that voltage level is reached. A lot of these fees are like that and I don't see a problem with that. The battery and charger stay cold while charging, and since you're charging with a USB charger, I don't see any potential electrical overcharging or safety issues with this product.
