We bought a warehouse building last month and luckily it just got delivered last week. One of the things we decided to do was upgrade the lighting as well as a little air conditioning. The plan was to use it for a lot of our crafts and stuff because it was starting to take over the house. Right now we're using it to store a few things. Anyway, I didn't want to spend a fortune on lighting a storage room, so I was pleasantly surprised when I found them. They claim to last 45 years if you use them an average of 3 hours a day. A total of about 50,000 hours. Although it is not said at what level of illumination. So as there will be times when we use them for more than 3 hours and I put them on the brightest setting I'm estimating they can last around 30-40 years. If so, this is excellent value for money. 5 light/temp settings: 2700k3000k3500k4000k5000k As I said I set ours to 5000k. What's cool is that you can set each light to a different temperature/brightness. Each light is just over 7 inches wide and just over 3 inches deep. For the most part I would say they are pretty easy to install. My husband's friend installed them because he is an electrician. Remember that there weren't any existing fixtures in the repository, but if you're just updating existing fixtures, you can do it yourself. It wasn't hard to get them straight. There is a chart to see if what you have is compatible with it. As for the existing upgrade, which I found extremely helpful and time-saving. They are even compatible with some dimmers. Check out the list. We now have lots of light in our new barn and I can't wait to start our projects there.
