I rent an apartment and chose this film to get away from the neighbors who park in front of my kitchen window and the neighbors across the street who might be looking into my house. I don't want to lose the light for my plants and wanted the feel of glass while still providing privacy. This is definitely what you need! I love how well it has turned out and have ordered an extra one for my entryway window. very convenient to use. I made my first cut on a straight edge with a razor blade by laying foil on cardboard, but found my extra-sharp Fiskar scissors gave me more control. The initial notch was too big but it was very easy to peel off the foil and cut again. I used rubbing alcohol to remove pen marks on the track line. I recommend planning the whole process and completing the project when you are feeling creative and patient! This takes some time. Although you can see the tint of objects from the outside, you CANNOT see the inside during the day or when the lights are on. see the thing inside! I am so happy with this USA made product and highly recommend it!
