This is exactly what I was looking for. This film provides more privacy for my bathroom and living room windows while also letting in plenty of light for my plants. Shadows and movement behind the film can still be seen, but no detail can be made out at all. I found it fairly easy to apply - I followed the directions exactly and was able to apply it to the two windows myself with no problem. You can see the repeating pattern in daylight if you look for it, but it doesn't bother me at all and…

We used textured film to cover the plexiglass over the door to our basement so it still lets light in. When we bought the house there was a stained glass version on the plexiglass. He walked fairly lightly, but kept climbing the corners. I tried putting it face down and pressing down a bit and it seemed to work. Now I pick it up to install and it rises up around the edges. Second problem: The texturing was wrong on both sides. Even though we bought a big screen, it was only enough for 1 window.

I applied this to my child as directed just because it was a high window application. It was easy to move around and make any necessary adjustments to placement, and it was easy to smooth out bubbles. I found it easiest on the second side, with a little more generous water spray than the first side. However, both sides turned out to be perfect. The texture looks and feels like real textured glass. Excellent. Love the privacy it offers and am considering buying a new set of doors. After using this on the front doors of our previous home. We knew this was the only thing we would be happy with in our new home. We also used it on our shower door. In both of our houses you could see through the whole house from the street.
