Not enough privacy for a bedroom window but excellent quality

My husband and I live in an English basement flat. We have two bedroom windows above our bed. Our neighbors walk by to get parking at the back of the building and can easily peek into our bedroom. I bought this film hoping it would give us enough privacy from our neighbors without blocking the light but it doesn't. It lets in a lot of light which is great. But even though everything is blurry, you can still tell if someone is leaving or changing. It's probably not that bad during the day, or when the brightness is about the same on either side of the window (inside and outside), but at night when we tested it I could easily see my husband taking his shirt off. If someone came by at night and we had the lights on and were doing adult things, they could understand what was going on. Again, everything is blurry, but I don't have enough privacy for a bedroom window. I think it will be good for our living room windows. Consider frosted glass for bedroom windows instead. As for the quality of the material, I think it's excellent. The window I mounted it on was 24.5 inches wide by 34.5 inches high and I installed it myself. The hardest part was cutting it off after I applied it, but that's because the blade of my box cutter has dulled. Make sure you have a sharp blade to trim the edges! If you don't have a mop, just use a credit card. You don't need to buy an installation kit. I did not unfold the material and had it straightened beforehand. Box opened and installed immediately. The paper backing keeps it curled up, when you take it off the backing it hangs pretty flat. In conclusion, I recommend this item for its quality and ability to transmit almost all the light. It does not offer absolute privacy. So if that is your main concern I would go for something matte or much more blurry.
